HI, I'M REBEKKA

though you might know me online as @resaa.art. In my childhood and teenage years, I’ve always been the “art kid”. But somewhere between growing up and juggling the many responsibilities of adult life, I lost my connection to creating altogether. After a 10-year break (without even holding a pencil) I finally returned to art and taught myself everything from scratch.

That journey shaped my belief that art is truly essential in this world. It’s not some mysterious talent reserved for a few - it’s a skill you can learn. At any age, at any stage of life, and regardless of prior experience.

Alongside creating, I’ve spent the past few years professionally researching the depths of social psychology. This work has not only challenged my personal growth - it’s also deeply influenced my mindset around artmaking

I’m a firm believer in the growth mindset. And the message is simple: You can learn anything.

For me, the magic lies in enjoying the process rather than chasing efficiency. Every piece I create is a reminder that art is just as much about exploration and play as it is about results -  and I love encouraging others to discover that joy for themselves.

By now, my dream has come true. I’ve honed my skills enough to finally work with my dream clients. I collaborate with publishers, book boxes, and authors to shape their romance and fantasy worlds and bring their magical ideas to life.

If I could tell my younger self that companies which once felt completely out of reach – like CELSYS, the creators of Clip Studio Paint – would now commission me, I wouldn’t have believed it.

This is the true power of persistence and resilience.
